Christian hope can serve as fuel for faithful Christian living. Yet, it does not happen automatically without any instruction or example. Rather, God has so designed the church that we are to look to and learn from one another as we look to and follow our Savior Jesus Christ.
Pastor Mitch Chase, author of Behold Our Sovereign God and The Gospel is of Christians, preached a sermon from I Thessalonians 1:9-10 about Christian hope. God’s Word can stretch us in helpful and hopeful ways. I encourage you, especially those of you who are in desperate need of real hope, to listen to this sermon from the pulpit of Kosmosdale Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
